Why Public Profiles Exist

Virtual Publicist exists to help artists discover opportunities and help the music industry become more connected.

To achieve that, Virtual Publicist may display public profiles for artists, industry professionals, companies, organizations, brands, opportunities and curated Collections.

Public profiles make discovery easier while giving profile owners control over their information whenever possible.

Types of Public Profiles

Virtual Publicist may display public profiles including:

• Industry Professionals
• Companies
• Brands
• Record Labels
• Music Publishers
• Music Blogs
• Playlist Curators
• Journalists
• Music Supervisors
• Sync Companies

• Opportunities

Additional profile types may be added as the platform grows.

Artist Profiles

Artists control whether their profile is public.

If enabled, your profile may appear:

• on Virtual Publicist
• in search engines
• inside Collections
• in recommendations
• on public artist pages

You may disable your public profile at any time, subject to reasonable technical and legal limitations.

Industry Profiles

Virtual Publicist maintains profiles of industry professionals.

These profiles help artists discover relevant opportunities.

Industry profiles may contain information such as:

• Name
• Position
• Company
• Location
• Public biography
• Genres
• Areas of interest
• Public social profiles
• Public websites
• Public business information

Private information is never intentionally published.

Company Profiles

Company profiles may include:

• Company name
• Description
• Website
• Logo
• Headquarters
• Industry
• Public contact information
• Public social links

Examples include:

• Record labels
• Music publishers
• Media companies
• Brands
• PR firms
• Management companies
• Festivals
• Agencies

Collection Pages

Collections organize opportunities into curated lists.

Examples include:

• Editorial Playlists
• Music Blogs
• Indie Labels

• TikTok Creators
• Spotify Curators

Collections may be created by Virtual Publicist or authorized contributors.

Profile Information Sources

Information may originate from:

We work to keep information accurate and current.

Claimed Profiles

Some profiles may be claimed by their owner.

Once verified, profile owners may receive additional editing tools and controls.

Verification does not guarantee ranking or visibility.

Unclaimed Profiles

Some public profiles may exist before they are claimed.

This helps artists discover opportunities across the music industry.

Unclaimed profiles remain subject to correction and verification requests.

Verification

Virtual Publicist may verify certain profiles.

Verification indicates that reasonable steps were taken to confirm the identity or authenticity of the profile.

Verification does not represent an endorsement or recommendation.

Requesting Corrections

If information on a public profile is inaccurate, outdated or incomplete, please contact us.

Where appropriate, we will review requests to:

Additional verification may be required before changes are made.

Profile Removal Requests

Profile owners may request removal where appropriate.

Removal requests are reviewed individually.

Not every request will result in removal.

Search Engine Indexing

Removing a profile from Virtual Publicist does not automatically remove cached copies from third-party search engines.

Visibility

Profile visibility may vary depending on:

Virtual Publicist does not sell ranking positions within search results unless clearly identified as sponsored content.

Public Contact Information

Some profiles may display publicly available business contact information.

Certain premium contact details may only be available to eligible users based on their subscription or credits.

Private contact information is not intentionally published without authorization.

Artists agree that any information they choose to make public may be viewed by:
