Why This Policy Exists
Virtual Publicist exists to help artists build genuine relationships with the music industry.
To keep the platform valuable for everyone, we ask every user to use Virtual Publicist responsibly.
This policy explains what is—and is not—allowed when using our platform.
Violation of this policy may result in warnings, feature restrictions, suspension or permanent account termination.
Our Philosophy

You May Use Virtual Publicist To
You are welcome to:
- Discover opportunities
- Research the music industry
- Build your artist profile
- Upload your own music
- Contact relevant industry professionals
- Generate AI-assisted outreach drafts
- Save Collections
- Connect supported platforms
- Build professional relationships
- Promote your own creative work
- Manage your campaigns
You May NOT
You may not use Virtual Publicist to:
- Break any applicable law
- Violate another person's rights
- Abuse the platform
- Circumvent subscription limits
- Bypass credit systems
- Interfere with platform security
- Harm other users
- Misrepresent yourself
- Harvest data
- Scrape the platform
- Train AI models using our data without permission
Fake Profiles
You may not:
- Create fake artist profiles
- Pretend to represent another artist
- Impersonate labels
- Impersonate brands
- Impersonate journalists
- Impersonate companies
- Pretend to work for another organization
Profiles should accurately represent the individual or organization using them.
Copyright
Only upload content that you own or have permission to use.
Examples include:
- music
- artwork
- logos
- photographs
- videos
- documents
You may not upload material that infringes another person's intellectual property rights.
Spam
Spam damages relationships.
It is prohibited.
Examples include:
- Mass unsolicited outreach
- Repeated unwanted messages
- Copy-paste campaigns sent indiscriminately
- Excessive messaging
- Promotional flooding
Virtual Publicist may limit outreach activity to protect both artists and industry professionals.
Artificial Intelligence
AI tools are provided to assist you.
You may not use Virtual Publicist AI to:
- generate harassment
- create fraudulent communications
- impersonate others
- generate illegal content
- distribute malware
- deceive recipients
You remain responsible for everything you send.
The Industry Network
The Virtual Publicist Industry Network contains valuable information.
You may not:
- scrape profiles
- bulk export information
- copy the network
- mirror Collections
- redistribute protected content
- resell our data
- build competing networks using our platform
Reasonable personal use is permitted.
Commercial extraction is prohibited without written permission.
Hidden Contact Information
Some information is intentionally protected.
You may not attempt to:
- reveal hidden email addresses
- bypass access restrictions
- automate profile harvesting
- discover protected contact information through technical means
Messaging
When communicating through Virtual Publicist, you agree to:
- be respectful
- be truthful
- avoid harassment
- avoid discrimination
- avoid threats
- avoid intimidation
- avoid abusive language
Professional communication leads to better opportunities for everyone.
Security
You may not attempt to:
- hack the platform
- probe vulnerabilities
- bypass authentication
- upload malicious software
- distribute viruses
- attack our infrastructure
- interfere with other users
Automation
Unless expressly authorized, you may not use:

- browser automation
- API abuse
- automated account creation
to interact with Virtual Publicist.
Fraud
Fraudulent activity is prohibited.

- fake subscriptions
- identity theft
- fake companies
- fake labels
- fake opportunities
- deceptive fundraising
- misleading artist claims
Public Profiles
Do not submit false correction requests.
Do not falsely claim ownership of another profile.
Verification requests must be truthful.
Community Respect
Treat other users professionally.
Do not use Virtual Publicist to:
- bully
- threaten
- stalk
- intimidate
- discriminate
- spread hate
- encourage violence
Enforcement
Depending on the severity of the violation, Virtual Publicist may:
- Issue a warning
- Restrict certain features
- Suspend messaging
- Suspend AI access
- Suspend account access
- Remove uploaded content
- Permanently terminate accounts
- Report illegal activity where required
We reserve the right to investigate suspected violations.
Reporting Abuse
If you encounter:
- spam
- impersonation
- copyright infringement
- harassment
- fake profiles
- fraudulent activity
- security concerns
please report it to us.
We review reports in good faith.
Policy Updates
As Virtual Publicist evolves, this policy may also evolve.
Material updates will be reflected by updating the "Last Updated" date.
