Virtual Publicist

Your listing

You decide what your public record says

If you are listed on the Virtual Publicist industry map, you decide what it says. Claim the record, correct a detail, ask for removal, or add a missing entry — a person reads every request.

How do I get my listing changed or taken down?

Send a request below naming the listing and what should happen to it. Corrections and claims are checked against the sources on the page; removals are actioned without argument. Every request is read by a person, and the reply comes from a person.

Send a request

Four kinds of request, one form. Pick the one that fits.

What do you need?

We use what you send here only to handle this request.

What happens next

The commitments that apply to every request.

  1. Step 1

    A person reads it

Requests go to a queue a human works through. There is no automated approval and no bot reply.

  2. Step 2

    Removal is not argued with

If you ask to be taken off the public map, the record comes down. We do not ask you to justify it or offer you a plan first.

  3. Step 3

    Corrections are dated

When a record changes, its public 'last updated' date changes with it, so anyone reading the page can see how fresh it is.

  4. Step 4

    Claiming costs nothing

Claiming a listing is free and does not create an account, a subscription, or a sales call.

What the public map never contains

Worth knowing before you decide whether a listing is a problem.

  • Private or personal contact details, including direct phone numbers and personal inboxes.
  • Anything from a Virtual Publicist user's workspace: their artist profile, rankings, drafts or correspondence.
  • Paid placement. No entry can be bought, and no ranking is for sale.
  • Scraped content from behind a paywall or login.
  • Opinions about a person's competence, reputation or behaviour.
