Note: You can also choose to edit or completely change your username by clicking the pencil icon next to your name and making it into a unique signature.

Tags & Genres:

Tags

When selecting your tags, you should look at them as being part of 3 distinct categories: career, path and collaborative identifiers.

  • In the Personal Information section there is a section indicating genres & tags. These are the keywords that will help the system associate your profile with the best-suited contacts in the database.
  • Keep in mind that adding too many tags will dilute the audience you are targeting and might not be to your advantage.
  • Note: These tags connect to search engines as they are visible on your public profile.

Genres:

  • You can select a maximum of 4 genres to define your music. Pick 2 general genres and 2 that are more precise to maximize the AI’s suggesting capabilities.
  • Ex: Rock, metal, Swedish black metal

A combination of these is the best fit for Virtual publicist as it completes your position in the Eco-system as well as the direction you want to take your career.

  1. Career Tags: These are tags that represent the type of career you are building they, include the genres you identify with, the instruments you use, your specialization and style.
  • Ex: Guitarist, Rhythm Guitar, rock, solo’s
  1. Path Tags: These are tags related to the type of outreach you currently do, if you create content, blog, or run your own pages, this is where the information must go.
  • Ex: playlist Curator, merchandising, journalist, content creator
